WorkersCompCalc is run by Chris Terry, who oversees the calculators and editorial content and is responsible for their accuracy and upkeep.
How our tools are built
Each calculator is built on published state benefit schedules and standard workers' comp formulas. We document the assumptions on each tool page and update the numbers when rates change. Nothing you enter is collected or stored.
Our sources
Figures come from state workers' compensation statutes and published benefit schedules. Where rules vary by state or change annually, we say so and link to the authoritative source.
Editorial independence and corrections
The goal is to give you a number you can actually use. Some links are affiliate links that may earn a commission at no cost to you. They do not influence the math. If you find an error, let us know and we will correct it.
